A HotUKDeals alternative for UK shoppersAutomated tracking with a price record of its own
When people look for a HotUKDeals alternative
HotUKDeals is built around people: its About page says every deal "was posted by a community member or by one of our editors", and that members vote hot or cold. That suits shoppers who like discussion, comments and community-found offers. Some shoppers would rather see a plain list of discounted products from the retailers they already shop at, with a price record behind it. That is the gap BuySignal is built for.
What BuySignal does
- Automatic collection. BuySignal automatically collects discounted products from the 20+ UK retailers it tracks and takes the price from each retailer's current listing.
- Its own price record. We keep one recorded price per product per day. On selected UK retailers, a deal can carry a label such as "Lowest in 30 days", based only on that record. The labels and their conditions are explained in how we track prices.
- What we don't check. The crossed-out price and "% off" are the retailer's own figures. We don't check the retailer's "was" price, stock, delivery or vouchers.
- How it is paid for. The public pages are free to view and the Deals Hub has a free 1-minute preview. Full Deals Hub access is £2.99 for 30 days. BuySignal currently does not use affiliate links and does not receive payment from retailers to list or rank deals.
What HotUKDeals does well
- A community. HotUKDeals describes itself as a deals and discounts community, and its About page says votes and comments on the site help people research products and deals (About page, checked 15 October 2026).
- Voucher codes. Its Vouchers page says a code is tested on the retailer's website before it is published, and that members report whether offers worked for them (checked 15 October 2026).
- Human filtering. Deals are posted by members or editors, and the home page offers tabs such as Popular, Hottest and Trending (checked 15 October 2026).
- Any retailer. Deals can come from any retailer that members post.
- Apps. iOS and Android apps are listed on the App Store and on Google Play (checked 15 October 2026). BuySignal is web only.

Which should you use?
If you enjoy browsing deals other people found, reading comments and picking up voucher codes, HotUKDeals is built for that. If you would rather see discounted products from a fixed set of UK retailers in one place, with a price record behind selected labels, BuySignal is built for that. The two do not exclude each other: you can read a HotUKDeals thread and then look at the same retailer on BuySignal.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a HotUKDeals alternative with price history?
BuySignal keeps its own daily record of each product's price at the UK retailers it tracks. On selected UK retailers, a deal can carry a label such as "Lowest in 30 days", based only on that record. The labels are explained at how we track prices. We don't check the retailer's own "was" price.
Is BuySignal free?
The public pages are free to view, and the Deals Hub has a free 1-minute preview. Full Deals Hub access then costs £2.99 for 30 days, so BuySignal is not free once the preview ends. HotUKDeals says on its Vouchers page that its links are monetised so it can keep its platform free to use.
Does BuySignal use affiliate links?
BuySignal currently does not use affiliate links and does not receive payment from retailers to list or rank deals. Our Terms say we may use affiliate links in future; if that happens, we will say so in the Terms and on how we track prices. HotUKDeals states on its About page that if you click through or buy, it may earn a fee or commission.
Can I use BuySignal and HotUKDeals together?
Yes. They work differently. HotUKDeals deals are posted by community members or editors and voted hot or cold. BuySignal collects discounted products automatically from the retailers it tracks. You can read community discussion on one and check the same retailer's tracked deals on the other.
Which UK retailers does BuySignal track?
BuySignal tracks 20+ UK retailers, including Currys, Argos, John Lewis, Very, JD Sports, Sports Direct, Schuh, The Fragrance Shop, Boots, ASOS, Nike, Adidas, The North Face, Alpine Trek, Scan and New Balance. HotUKDeals is not limited to a fixed list: deals can come from any retailer that members post.
How are the price labels calculated?
Labels are based only on prices BuySignal has recorded itself, and each label has conditions on the length and quality of the record. They are shown on selected UK retailers only. The full definitions are on how we track prices.
